My roots
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, but have lived in Nashville, TN long enough to feel comfortable saying "y'all". My Mom runs an assisted living home for older folks, and my Dad is a soon-to-be retired lawyer. They taught me everything I know about working hard and sharing love.
What I used to do
When I was 15, I got my first job as a dishwasher and loved every minute of it. After that, I took photos at live music venues and coached a youth rock climbing team to pay the bills. I earned my first stripes as a designer working an unpaid internship at a brand agency.
What I do now
Today, I'm a Senior Product Designer at Imprint in charge of our end-to-end customer experience. Imprint is a fintech startup that builds co-branded credit cards and is backed by Thrive Capital, Kleiner Perkins, and Ribbit Capital. Before that, I was a Senior UX Designer at HCA Healthcare working on software inside the hospital patient's room.
